==Story==

The franchise takes place in a world where Prism Shows, performances that are a combination of singing, dancing, fashion, and ice skating, are popular. The skaters, known as Prism Stars, use Prism Stones to coordinate their dresses and perform Prism Jumps to appeal to their fans.
''Aurora Dream'' revolves around a girl named Aira Harune who, along with a girl named Rizumu Amamiya, is scouted to become a Prism Star. Joined by a veteran Prism Star, Mion Takamine, they form a group called as MARs and work towards Rizumu's dream of performing the mysterious, legendary Prism Jump, Aurora Rising, that her mother had once performed.
''Dear My Future'' takes place three years after ''Aurora Dream'' and follows a new idol, Mia Ageha, who aspires to become a greater idol than Aira. Forming her own group, Prizmmy☆, alongside her friends Reina, Karin and Ayami, she works hard fervently to reach her goal and fulfill her dream.
''Rainbow Live'' has nothing much said about the past characters. Naru Ayase is an 8th grader who can see the colors of music when she listens to it. For Naru, who is extremely good at decorating Prism Stones, becoming the owner of a shop like "Dear Crown" was her dream. One day, she finds out that the manager of a newly opened shop is recruiting middle school girls who can do Prism Show and immediately applies. Naru begins to do a Prism Show at the audition and an aura she's never experienced spreads out in front of her. At that moment, a mysterious girl named Rinne asks her if she can see the "Colors of Music". She later befriends Anne Fukuhara and Ito Suzuno known as 'Cross'. Anne becomes the charge of the cakes and sweets section while Ito becomes the charge of the make up section at Prism Stone along with Naru as the manager. Upon doing Prism Live their kappas Lovelyn, Poppun and Kurrun get turned into instruments: a guitar, keyboard and drumsticks respectively. Later the three form a group called Happy Rain. But they are constantly irritated by Belle, Wakana and Otoha who are students of Edel Rose, the famous school for education in Prism shows. Later it is shown that these girls become good friends and the three of them also find their kappas Seshini, Ethini and Femini. Here it is shown that Rinne is a messenger from the Prism World.
''All-Star Selection'' features a girl named Laala Manaka, who desired to become a Prism Star. To further her debut the best, three main protagonists from the previous Pretty Rhythm series Aira, Mia and Naru giving her a lesson about how to be the best Prism Star. In addition of the lesson she's learning, the series also retells the events of the previous Pretty Rhythm series.
''PriPara'' is spin off of Pretty Rhythm where it's featuring Laala Manaka from ''All-Star Selection''. She is a young fifth grade of Paprika Elementary school where they are forbidden to having any PriTicket until they are reaching Paprika Junior High School. But things suddenly change when Laala receives a PriTicket from top of her hair with the help of a Prism Idol, Mirei, she became a Prism Idol and also unknowingly she possesses a 'Legendary Prism Voice'.
